3.
Kayabukiya
Tavern (Utsunomiya city)
This bar is located at Utsunomiya
City, Tochigi Prefecture. Although this bar looks just like any other bars,
with a wooden door and happy customer’s pictures on it’s wall, this bar has
something unique. If other bars have human as their waitresses, then this bar
have monkeys as their waitresses. Their names are Yat-chan and Fuku-chan. They
will take your orders and will deliver it as soon as they can. But of course,
you need to give them their rewards, boiled soybeans. Surprisingly enough, the
owner didn’t exactly train them, but these monkeys learn how to serve customers
just by looking at the owner. And the owner limit the monkey's working time to only two hours, as written in http://travel.spotcoolstuff.com/unusual-restaurant/japan/kayabukiya-monkey-waiters. (Estimated costs for both food and drinks: 2000 yen)
